Dogmoor Rules and Regulations

1. Hours: 6:00am to 9:00pm

2. The off-leash area is for dogs, their handlers and those accompanying them.  No other users are allowed.

3. Dogs must be properly inoculated and healthy, free of contagious conditions and diseases and parasites, vaccinated, and collared with rabies and ID tags.

4. No puppies under 6 months of age allowed.

5. Dogs must be spayed or neutered to be admitted to the park.

6. No more than 3 dogs per owner.

7. Dogs must be on a leash and under control by their owners at all times while entering and exiting the fence area.

8. Owners must remove any pinch, prong or spiked collars before entered the fenced area.

9. Owners must be within wisual sight and voice control of their dogs at all times.

10. Owners must have possession of dog leash at all times..

11. Handlers must be 16 years of age or older.

12. Children under 6 are prohibited from entering the fenced dog park area.  Children 6-12 years of age must be under strict adult supervision- no running, no chasing or petting dogs without the owner's permission.

13. No strollers, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblading, etc are allowed in the off-leash area.  Wheelchairs are allowed.

14.Owners must immediately clean up after their dog(s) and properly dispose of the waste.

15. Professional dog trainers are not permitted to use this facility to conduct business.

16. Persistent barking is not allowed.

17. No digging is allowed.  Owner is responsible for filling holes as needed.

18. No smoking, illegal drugs, or firearms are allowed in dog park or surrounding area.

19. Aggressive dogs, regardless of size, are not permitted.  If aggression toward people or animals occurs, the dog must be leashed and removed from the park.

20. Rawhides, food (dog or human), dog treats, and glass bottles are not allowed.

21. Only small, older, or shy dogs are allowed to use the small dog area.

22. Should Total Community Action (TCA) need to use the neutral ground for emergency evacuation, drill purposes, or special events, Dogmoor members must leave the park until the events are finished.

23. Owner waives liability to the Broadmoor Improvement Association for any injury or damage caused by pet.  Owners are solely liable for injuries or damages caused by their dog(s).
